If you’ve got a lot to say, now you’ll be able to say it on Twitter. The company’s new CEO Elon Musk announced that he’s going to increase the character limit per tweet to 4000!
Yesterday a Twitter user asked Elon a question about the character limit and Musk confirmed that the social media platform is going to significantly increase the character limit from 280 to four thousand. Ironically, Musk’s reply was a single word answer..."Yes."
The last time Twitter increased its character limit was back in 2017 when it went from 140 to 280.
So, get ready for some really long-winded tweets!
