Kim Kardashian has quite the jewelry collection. She owns a lot of pieces that once belonged to or were worn by famous people, and now that includes a necklace that Princess Diana wore in the 80s to a charity event.
Yesterday at auction Kim bought a famous necklace called the Attallah Cross, and you know a piece of jewelry is special when it has a name.
Princess Di wore the Attallah Cross to a charity gala in London back in 1987, and reportedly Kim K bought it for $197,453. That actually sounds like a bargain considering how large this piece of jewelry is. The cross is as big as the palm of your hand, and is made up of huge amethysts and encrusted with diamonds.
The necklace will join other pieces in Kim's jewelry box including items that were owned by Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie O.
