Kelly Clarkson is going to help ring in the holiday season as host of the annual Christmas tree lighting at Rockefeller Center.
This year marks the 92nd lighting of the tree in New York City. The tradition began in 1931 when workers at Rockefeller Center chipped in to buy a Christmas tree.
Clarkson will be busy the night of November 29th as both host and performer at the celebration.
Recently Kelly moved her talk show from Los Angeles to Rockefeller Center so you know there will be a lot of cross promotion that night.
The two-hour live holiday special airs on NBC starting at 8pm on November 29th.
