Your Reputation in business is absolutely vital (Hello Boeing?). Everybody has brands and businesses that they love and are loyal to, if their reputation suddenly takes a dive, we might not be as loyal. Some companies have a solid reputation in their industry and a new report from “Fortune” magazine reveals which ones they are.
- Their 26th annual list of the World’s Most Admired Companies has just come out.
- They surveyed more than 37-hundred corporate executives, directors and analysts in 52 industries, who rated the companies based on nine criteria, such as investment value, quality of management and global competitiveness.
- This year’s list features some returning favorites, including Apple, which tops the list as the Most Admired Company for the 17th year in a row.
- Amazon comes in second and Microsoft is third, just as they’ve been for the last three years.
- Walmart is back on the top 10 list for the first time in 14 years, coming in ninth.
- Disney fell from sixth last year to 12th this year.
