The company believes its new "sleek packaging" and new flavors will better connect the Diet Coke brand to millennials. Starting today, Coca-Cola will offer four new flavors, including "Ginger Lime," "Twisted Mango," "Feisty Cherry," and "Zesty Blood Orange," in newly-designed, skinny 12-ounce cans.
Coke planned the face-lift about two-years ago, after seeing a decline in sugary drink consumption among health-conscious millennials. The website touts “Reintroducing Diet Coke: After 35 years a bold new look.”
