With the death of a couple who were attempting to take a selfie at Yosemite National Park, selfie deaths are in the spotlight.

A study of selfie related deaths taken by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Dehli, and shared earlier this month, shows that more than 250 selfie deaths happened between 2011 and last year. Drowning is the leading way selfie takers die. In the U.S. gun related selfie deaths are the top issue.
