Bad news if you were planning on heading over to Nantucket this weekend. Due to multiple shark sightings right off the shore no more than 15 feet from where swimmers were in the water harbormasters closed the entire south side of the Island.
Reported by NBC 10 WJAR, "Harbor Master Sheila Lucey said there were at least five shark sightings throughout the day Wednesday and all of them were less than 15 feet from the shore. The beaches closed included Cisco Beach, Surfside Beach, Nobadeer Beach, Miacomet Beach, and Medaket Beach."
