Court Documents Released In Sandy Hook Massacre

Court documents depict the gunman in the deadly Newtown school shooting as a loner, a gun collector, and an avid video gamer.  The papers released today include the findings of FBI interviews with people about Adam Lanza, who killed 20 kids and six adults in an assault on Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut last year.  They described Lanza as a "shut-in" who rarely left his home and an avid gamer who played "Call of Duty" and other games.

Lanza also had a huge cache of ammunition, knives and swords.  A description of the guns and ammo seized at Lanza's home spans three pages.  There were several different types of ammunition for various firearms, including pistols, rifles and shotguns.

Lanza killed himself in the school massacre.  Court documents show he was dressed in military-style clothing and was wearing a bullet proof vest.  He had several handguns, along with a military-style assault weapon.  The documents also indicate he shot his mother in the forehead before the school attack.
