WARWICK, R.I. (AP) — The state health department has recommended the reopening of two Warwick beaches that had high levels of bacteria in the water.
The Rhode Island Department of Health said bacteria levels have returned to within acceptable limits at Conimicut Point Beach and Oakland Beach.
All Rhode Island beaches were open for swimming as of Thursday afternoon, according to the department.
The department tests water quality during the summer months to ensure conditions are safe for swimmers.
