WOONSOCKET, R.I. (AP) — A 30-year-old Woonsocket woman has been indicted on charges she set fire to her boyfriend's home.
The Woonsocket Call reports Corrine Latraverse is accused of starting the fire after learning the man she was living with was having an affair.
She was indicted Wednesday by a Providence County Grand Jury on a charge of first-degree arson.
Police say Latraverse doused a hallway in the home with gasoline and lit it on fire while her three children were outside and her boyfriend was at work. She suffered minor injuries in the fire. Police say she called her boyfriend to tell him what she had done and why.
Latraverse has been held without bail since appearing in Superior Court on March 17. She is to be arraigned on July 23.
