Is a "Coming to America" sequel in the works? Maybe. In a tweet that's since been deleted, Eddie Murphy brought up the possibility and posted a picture of Vanessa Bell Calloway in character. And he almost broke the Internet in the process.
Murphy's people went on to say the actor himself doesn't tweet. What's more, his entire Twitter account has since been nixed.
Either way, sources tell TMZ a sequel to the 1988 movie is in the works. Murphy is reportedly in the "very early stages" of writing the next installment of the comedy, but no other details have been decided.
