More NES Classic Systems Coming…Thankfully

Last year, Nintendo struck gold with one of the most desirable items of the holiday season. We’re talking, of course, about the NES Classic gaming system. For those who don’t remember, it’s a smaller version of the original Nintendo gaming system that comes pre-loaded with thirty classic games.

This thing was a monster, selling over 1.5-million units up until they were completely sold out just prior to Christmas. Impressive, considering it wasn’t released to the public until November 11th. Since there’s clearly still demand for more of these things, Nintendo has announced that they’ll increase production. So, there’ll be a time for you to get one of your very own if you missed out.

But that’s not all – the company isn’t stopping there. You may recall an announcement from Nintendo that they’ll be making another retro system to follow in the NES Classic’s shoes – the Super NES Classic. This will be the same deal, but with Super Nintendo, and pre-loaded with a slew of games, as well.
