Cockroach Named After Tom Brady In Atlanta Zoo

It was a little over two weeks ago, when the Atlanta Falcons pulled-off one of the all-time greatest choke jobs in sports history. Just to rub it in, you might recall that they blew a 25-point lead in the Super Bowl and let New England have yet another trophy for their collection.

The memory of that loss will live on for years at the Atlanta Zoo in the form of a hissing cockroach named “Tom Brady.” The naming of the Madagascar hissing cockroach stems from a bet that was made between the Atlanta Zoo and Roger Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island. That bet called for the loser to name a baby animal after the quarterback of the winning team.

In a video that was posted on Facebook, the zoo announced the new cockroach family. That family included their now famous star-quarterback family member. Now…the trick is finding a tiny little roach jersey that will fit the little guy.
