Before she was an Oscar-winning actress, Octavia Spencer was struggling like everyone else in Hollywood. In fact, she played a lunch in a Subway commercial back in 2003. The ad – which you can see on the right – is for its Chicken Pizzola sandwich. She won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for “The Help” in 2012 and is up for the same trophy for her work in “Hidden Figures” this weekend.
