Dana White Optimistic On Mayweather-McGregor

When it comes to “that” fight, UFC president Dana White is suddenly is showing signs of optimism. Now, it appears that the fight we all know will happen, may actually really happen. During an appearance on “Conan,” White said that may only be a “matter of time” before the fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor is reality.

White stressed that the deal is not yet in place, and that it could take a while because of the financials and the egos involved. But seriously, yhe financials are what’s going to bring it together. Up until recently, it appeared that White was the one thing that was in the way of the fight coming together. Apparently, that’s not the case anymore.

McGregor is under an exclusive contract with UFC, and White himself says that if McGregor tried to fight outside of the UFC he would be in for an “epic fall.” White also shot down speculation of a fight date of June 10th in Vegas. McGregor is expecting a baby in May, and there are still a ton of details to be worked out. But “later this year?” Word is that’s very possible.
