While working the drive-thru at McDonald’s in Doral, Florida, Pedro Viloria went above and beyond to help a customer. He was getting a customer’s order together when he noticed she was having trouble breathing. Then she suddenly went unconscious and he jumped out of the window to help.
The customer’s foot slipped off the brake of her SUV and she had kids inside, so Pedro chased after her vehicle. Once he stopped the car from rolling into traffic, he called 911 for help.
Another customer ran outside and performed CPR on the woman - who happened to be an off-duty police officer - until the paramedics arrived. She was taken to the hospital for treatment, but without Pedro there to literally jump out of a window to save her, it could have been much worse.
