Your Facebook activity could land you in court. Just ask the man in Switzerland who is facing legal action because of eight posts he "liked" on the social networking site.
The posts in question accuse Erwin Kessler, the president of animal protection association, of racism and anti-Semitism. Now Kessler is suing the unnamed 45-year-old for defamation, claiming that by the liking the posts, he helped spread them by introducing them to a larger audience.
On the flip side, the defendant’s lawyer will argue that Kessler has previously been convicted of racial discrimination. Plus, he and his association are currently in the midst of dealing with eight other people in five similar cases.
If convicted, the Facebook user faces a hefty fine and court fees.
