Tom Brady Explains Why He Never Uses Patriots Playing Madden

Tom Brady may be on the cover of Madden but I’ll tell you where you won’t find The patriots when he plays Madden.

On Brady’s controller.

That’s because Brady recently confided that he usually doesn’t get to play as the New England Patriots for one simple reason.

Because his 9-year-old son Jack grabs dad’s team first.

And that is a conundrum for Brady.

“I don’t like doing it,” Brady says. “It does feel weird. I feel like I’m going up against my own guys that I love. Julian [Edelman] catches a pass, and I’ve got to tackle him. I’ve been Green Bay, because I like that offense. And I’ve been Seattle, because I love being that defense.”

Oh and in case you’re wondering if Brady is worried about the Madden curse.

Not for a second, as Brady says he intends to break the Madden Curse, even posting a recent video to his Facebook mocking the curse as he breaks a mirror and walks under a ladder, all while saying curses are ridiculous.

Yup, there’s no cursing Brady.

I mean, I’m guessing he couldn’t possibly be cursed any more than he was by Atlanta fans in the second half of this year’s Super Bowl.
