Couple Who Disappeared Decades Ago Are Found In A Glacier

Couple Who Disappeared Decades Ago Are Found In A Glacier-Swiss authorities say a couple who disappeared from their farm in the Alps during World War Two have been found 75 years later frozen in a glacier.

Officials are conducting DNA tests to formally identify Marceline and Francine Dumoulin, who went missing in August of 1942 after leaving their home to milk cows in a nearby meadow. Their mummified remains were finally found last week, by a worker at a local ski resort. The clothing and shoes of Marcelin and Francine Dumoulin were immediately noticeable. A wine bottle lay near by.

Their bodies were preserved in a glacier that is now receding. Authorities believe they likely fell into a crevice.
