Madame Tussaud’s Is “Fixing” Beyonce Statue

No one is a match for public humiliation.

It only took two days after public furor over Beyonce’s sculpture went on display for it to be taken down. The anger was over the skin tone making the singer look white.

The museum says the move was made so that “styling and lighting” of the wax figure could be adjusted. Of course, the famed wax museum didn’t directly address the controversy in its statement.

“We love, respect and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé. We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure and she is on display at Madame Tussauds New York.”
