Last Christmas a lot of kids were left crying because their parents weren’t able to get their hands on the season’s must-have toy, Hatchimals. If you don’t want a repeat performance this year, now’s the time to act.
The newest incarnation of the toy, “Hatchimals Surprise,” is once again predicted to be the “it” toy of the holiday season, and toymaker Spin Master is already selling them, sort of. While details about this year’s popular animatronic critters haven’t been announced yet, with the company only saying they’ll have “new eggs, a new hatching process, [and] a new species,” retailers are already taking pre-orders, which should keep you from scouring every toy store in your town two weeks before Christmas.
But if you wait too long you may be out of luck. Target has already sold out of pre-orders for all three versions they were selling, although Walmart and other stores still have some available. Oh and they don't come cheap. Hatchimals range in price from $69.99 to $79.99.
