Marlo L. Thomas likes to stir the pot...and that includes egging on, and eventually getting involved, in a fight between kids. The 49-year-old from Racine, Wisconsin is facing multiple charges, including felony child abduction and child abuse charges, after she encouraged two eight-year-olds to fight.
Witnesses tell police the boys had finished fighting when Thomas allegedly went to one of the boys’ homes, grabbed him and dragged home down the block to fight the other child a second time.
According to Racine police, the woman also punched one of the boys in the left ear, knocking him down to the ground, allowing the other boy to get on top of him and beat him. In the end, the kid suffered a bloody left ear and scratches to his face, cheek and neck. Thomas was arrested and is facing up to 25 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.
