Ok... maybe only the nominees get puppies. Either way, BEST GRAMMYs EVER!
This year's Grammys wasn't just about the winners getting the most coveted award in music, it was also about the nominees who don't get to walk away with a shiny award.
For the nominees for "Best Comedy Album"... Sunday night became the night they got a puppy. Dave Chappelle won the award & that's when James Corden had a special announcement for the comedians who lost.
It was going to be a much better night than they thought!
James Corden hit the stage, excited and with a special announcement they would never forget:
“I should say to all the nominees that who are not going home with a Grammy — I don’t want anyone to be upset tonight, so the good news is nobody goes home empty-handed because all night we will be handing out consolation puppies... So if you didn’t get a Grammy, you get a puppy.”That's when adorable puppies were delivered to Jerry Seinfeld, Sarah Silverman and Jim Gaffigan!
Forget a Grammy... give us the puppy!!!
