Some people living in a Queens neighborhood are afraid to leave their homes due to a aggressive squirrels terrorizing their residents.
Over the past few weeks, several squirrel attacks have been reported in the Queens area in New York. Home owners have been chased, bitten and attacked by overly aggressive squirrels looking for food.
In an interview with WCBS-TV’s Hazel Sanchez, Micheline Frederick, a local home owner bitten and attacked by a rouge squirrel said, "You hear someone has been bitten by a squirrel, you’re like ‘Okay, you got a little nib, what’s the deal?’ But this was … this was an MMA cage match! And I lost!”
Frederick then shared the grewsome pictures in the video below.
According to The Centers for Disease Control small rodents like squirrels are almost never found to have rabies however local residents are surprised the city isn't taking the matter more seriously.
