Cicilline Leaves Congress With One Last "Yes" Vote

Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline took his final vote in the House of Representatives on Wednesday night.

It was a big one: voting "yes" to the Fiscal Responsibility Act.

Prior to the vote he said that he had thought long and hard about the issue and that it was clearly the right thing to do for the country.

The House passed on the bipartisan debt ceiling bill to the Senate just days ahead of a deadline to avoid a potential default on the United States national debt.

Cicilline is resigning to become the CEO of the Rhode Island Foundation.
