Help On Way For Rhode Island Wineries

A bill to help Rhode Island wineries is headed to Governor Dan McKee.

The General Assembly has passed legislation to allow the sale of a limited amount of wine per customer per day on site.

Wineries are not currently allowed to sell product on-site unless the fruit was grown in-state.

Supporters said wineries should have the same right as breweries and distilleries to sell product on-site even when not all the ingredients are grown in the Ocean State.
