Wallethub Releases Where The Best And Worst Schools Are

WalletHub is releasing its report on the states with the best and worst school systems in 2024.

WalletHub compared the 50 states and DC across 32 key metrics, ranging from the pupil-teacher ratio, to dropout rate, to median standardized-test scores.

The analysis also accounted for performance, funding, safety, class size and instructor credentials.

States with the best school systems include Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, and Wisconsin.

Massachusetts and Connecticut were 1 and 2 on the "best" list. Rhode Island came in number 18.

States with the worst school systems are New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, Alaska, and Louisiana.
