Elton John has had quite the health journey so far, and he recently opened up about having a lot of body parts removed. But, the music icon is wearing one of these previously-removed parts like a badge of honor.

At the premiere of his new biopic, Never Too Late, at the BFI London Film Festival, Elton showed up wearing one very noticeable, shall we say bone-chilling, accessory. Us Weekly reports that the singer was wearing a necklace prominently showcasing his old kneecap.

The kneecap looks like it has been outlined along the edge in gold, and hanging on a gold bone-like chain. See said necklace below.

In a tear-jerking speech during the recent New York Film Festival premiere of Elton John: Never Too Late, the music icon opened up about his health issues, explaining that he's had many body parts removed over the years.

As PEOPLE reports, Elton shared, "To be honest with you, there's not much of me left. I don't have tonsils, adenoids or an appendix. I don't have a prostate." He added, "I don't have a right hip or a left knee or a right knee. In fact, the only thing left to me is my left hip. But I’m still here. And I can't thank you [enough], you’re the people that made me. I want to thank David and Zachary and Elijah for making me the happiest man in the world."

Fans can catch Elton John: Never Too Late on Disney+ on December 13th.
