WalletHub: Rhode Island Is The Worst State For Starting A Business

WalletHub says Rhode Island is the worst state for starting a business.

That's according to a new study by the financial services website which compared all 50 states across 25 key indicators of startup success to determine which states were the best to launch and grow an enterprise.

The scores are based on factors like startup costs, access to capital, labor costs, and the overall business environment.

Rhode Island was at the bottom of the list at number 50, with Maryland at number 49 and Hawaii at 48.

Florida ranked as the best state, followed by Utah and Texas.
