New Poll Shows Improving Approval Rate For Governor McKee

A new Morning Consult poll shows an improving approval rate for Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee.

According to the quarterly tracking poll, the governor's approval rating stood at 49-percent last fall, up from 40-percent in the spring of last year.

In addition, his disapproval rating dropped to 36-percent which is its lowest level since the middle of 2023.

The poll also found that Democratic U.S. Senator Jack Reed's job approval rating increased from 55 to 59-percent and the approval rating for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse's rose from 52 to 55-percent.
