Congressman Amo Talks About The "Real State of the Union"

Rhode Island Congressman Gabe Amo has been traveling across the state this week to talk about the "Real State of the Union."

The First District Democrat says since President Trump's inauguration, prices are up, communities are less safe and democracy is under attack.

He says families have been hit hard by his tariffs, health care cuts, attacks on the social safety net and a draconian immigration crackdown.

Amo says he's been hearing from residents who are struggling because of President Trump and his cronies in Congress, but he remains committed to fighting back to keep Rhode Islanders and their values safe.
