Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a December shooting and crash on I-95 in Providence.
Rhode Island State Police say the December 29th incident happened when someone in a vehicle fired shots at another car before crashing into a third car near the Smithfield Avenue off-ramp.
The suspects fled on foot after the crash and several people were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from the shooting and crash.
Troopers executed arrest and search warrants Wednesday, and the suspects were arrested on multiple charges.
Police say they also recovered ammunition, digital evidence related to the shooting along with fentanyl, cocaine, drug-packaging equipment and cash.
