New data is showing the number of residents enrolled in HealthSource RI is on the decline.
According to a report, total enrollment is down roughly 10-percent and new enrollees fell by 20-percent.
This drop comes after the expiration of Advance Premium Tax Credits at the federal level, which was a key factor in the government shutdown that lasted several weeks in 2025.
Governor McKee has set aside over nine-million dollars to help subsidize increased health costs for Rhode Islanders.
