Prosecutors Dropping Domestic Assault Charges Against Patriots Barmore

Prosecutors are dropping the domestic assault charges against New England Patriots defensive lineman Christian Barmore.

Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn said on Monday his office dropped the charges because they don't have a viable case.

Barmore's former girlfriend, who is the mother of his two-year-old child, accused him of throwing her to the floor in August.

But the DA said she now lives out of state and will not travel to Massachusetts to testify.

Barmore had been scheduled for arraignment in the court on Monday on a misdemeanor count of assault and battery on a household or family member.
