Providence police are investigating a stabbing at Club Mi Sueno on Broad Street.
Police say they encountered a man with a stab wound shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday and he told them he was stabbed on the patio of the club following an altercation.
The man was bleeding heavily, and police took him directly to the hospital. Investigators responding the club learned that the alleged suspect had also tried to stab a security guard.
There have been a number of violent incidents reported at and around the club, dating back several years.
