Warwick Unveils New Emergency Operations Center With Updated Technology

Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi joined Congressman Seth Magaziner and first responders Wednesday to celebrate the completion of the city's new Emergency Operations Center.

The facility on Potowomut Road will serve as a central hub for communication and coordination, replacing a nearly 70-year-old facility that had become outdated and was facing issues that included leaks, flooding, and overall deterioration.

This state-of-the-art facility was made possible by 530-thousand-dollar federal grant secured for Warwick in 2024. It will be fully up and running within the next month.
