Six adults and four children have been displaced by a house fire in Providence.
Firefighters were called to Goddard Street at around 5 p.m. Monday where they found heavy fire coming from the multifamily home where large portions of the walls had been destroyed.
According to Fire Department Chief Derek Silva, firefighters faced challenging conditions, but they were able to keep the blaze from spreading to other homes.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
