Rhode Island, Connecticut See Major Job Creation

Rhode Island is slated to gain some 35 hundred jobs by the end of the year because Electric Boat is expanding at Quonsett Point in North Kingstown and in Groton, Connecticut.

The expansion comes with the increase in production of submarines.

A nearly 16-billion-dollar investment is being made by The Department of The Navy.

So called Virginia Subs are attack subs while Columbia based subs are considered deterrent subs.

Now officials say they have opened up conversations with state and local officials as to whether the new job holders will have an affordable place to live.
