Fed Investigation Concludes Brown University Shooter Acted Alone

The FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office for Massachusetts have concluded a significant portion of their investigation into the Brown University mass shooting and the murder of an MIT professor in Brookline.

The investigation has found that Portuguese native Claudio Neves Valente acted alone and his actions had no ties to terrorism.

The findings also show that the firearms used in the crimes were legally purchased from a pawn shop in Florida.

Nine people were shot- two fatally.

Following the shootings, Neves Valente made a series of audio files and short videos confessing to committing these crimes, showing no remorse and providing no reason for his actions.
