The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management says state beaches are now open daily for the summer season.
Lifeguards are on duty and there are beach staffers, concessions and restrooms at most locations.
Roger Wheeler State Beach is open, but with limited capacity as construction on the boardwalk and bulkhead projects wrap up.
Restrooms will be available, and lifeguards will be on duty to help support a safe and enjoyable experience for all beachgoers.
At Misquamicut State Beach there's a new traffic pattern to get visitors parked and onto the beach more efficiently.
Visitors should follow all directional signage and traffic guidance.
