The Judicial Nominating Commission has interviewed the applicants who want a seat on the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
The interviews took place a day after a Superior Court judge ruled that former House Speaker Joseph Shekarchi's application does not violate Rhode Island's revolving door law. State prosecutor Christopher Bush, Superior Court Judge Luis Matos, Family Court Judge Laureen D'Ambra and attorney John Roberts were also interviewed.
The commission has sent all of the candidates' names to the Governor who will nominate one for confirmation by the General Assembly.
