Rhode Island Early Primary Voting Ends Today At 4 P.M.

The Rhode Island Department of State Elections is reminding residents that early voting for the primary election ends at 4 o'clock this afternoon.

Eligible voters who still want to cast a ballot can find their early voting location online at vote.ri.gov or by contacting their local board of canvassers.

This year's primary election was moved to September 9th to give poll workers enough time to set up voting locations after the federal Labor Day holiday. Primary election day polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The general election takes place on November 3rd.
