As crazy as it sounds, Donald Trump wouldn’t have gotten to be President if he didn’t go out of his way to offend people.
So why stop now.
Although, given his latest target, he may have endeared himself to many people with his latest attack on NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell—who the current president had some harsh words for in comments that were just released by The New York Times.
“The commissioner is a weak guy,” Trump said. “When he made the Ray Rice deal, everybody said: You’re stupid. You’re weak. And it was such a weak deal. So now he’s going overboard with their star, Brady.”
And for good measure he closed with…
“The commissioner is a dope. He’s a stupid guy.”
Wow—wonder if Trump is running for NFL commissioner in 2020.
At any rate, it’s not a secret that President Trump has a personal relationship with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft. It’s also not a secret that he sided with the Patriots in the whole DeflateGate issue.
Who I have to imagine at this point are wishing there was a wall between trump and those comments.
