Lenny Kravitz has been added to the lineup of next month’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Lenny will be on hand to perform a special tribute to Prince at the April 7th event at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Kravitz shared the news on Facebook writing, “Getting ready to honor my friend Prince at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony. This is very personal for me and I so wish it wasn’t for this reason.”
Alicia Keys, Mary Chapin Carpenter and the Indigo Girls are also set to perform at the event, while Pharrell Williams has been added to honor Nile Rodgers with the Award for Musical Excellence. Also added to the HOF induction is George Harrison’s son Dhani Harrison, who’ll induct Electric Light Orchestra and Train's Pat Monahan, chosen to induct Journey.
For those who can’t get to Brooklyn on the 7th, HBO will air the HOF induction on April 29th at 8 pm.
