- A new report by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety finds that of 37 midsize sport-utility vehicles, only two offered a “good” option for their headlights
- 11 models’ headlights are regarded as “poor,” while 12 are “marginal” and 12 are “acceptable”
- Midsize SUVs that earned that “good” grade were the Volvo XC60, which was ranked the best overall, and Hyundai Santa Fe, while the Kia Sorrento was considered one of the worst options
As for those ranked “poor” they include:
- Infiniti QX60
- Lincoln MKC
- Lincoln MKX
- Dodge Journey
- Ford Edge
- Ford Explorer
- GMC Terrain
- Hyundai Santa Fe Sport
- Jeep Wrangler
