We are always hearing about the crazy things brides do before a wedding, but it turns out some guests are no better. A bride recently took to the Facebook site, “That’s it I’m Wedding Shaming” to share the story of a guest who had the nerve to bring ten Tupperware containers in order to take home leftovers.
The bride says the guest in question wasn’t even originally invited but her dad’s friend had asked if he could bring his daughter and her husband. The couple agreed, but when the big day came? Only the daughter showed up, with her Tupperware...filling up seven containers with food, as well as three containers of cookies, some beer, and “most of the centerpieces.”
Turns out, the bride didn’t find out about any of it until after the wedding (yay). But making matters worse? When the couple opened the gift from the woman she had given them just five dollars. Even more outrageous, the bride insists the woman isn’t poor, and “probably better off than [the bride.]”
- As you can imagine, folks on the Internet had some strong opinions about this unwanted guest. "Some people have no shame, I would be mortified to scab off someone like this, esp (especially) at a wedding,” one wrote, while another suggested she should, “Message her asking for money to cover the cost of the food and center pieces she took.”
