Bruce Springsteen has released a new live album for fans, which will help raise money for COVID-19. The Boss’ latest download is for his concert January 9th, 1981 concert at New Jersey’s Brendan Byrne Arena.
The show was part of six consecutive nights at the newly-opened arena, and was part of his “The River” tour. The concert features a guest appearance by Gary U.S. Bonds on “JolĂ© Blon” and “This Little Girl,” and a performance of the rarity “Johnny Bye-Bye,” as well as classics like “Rosalita,” “Thunder Road,” “Hungry Heart,” “Promised Land,” “Born to Run,” “Jersey Girl” and more.Â
The download costs $9.95, with proceeds going to theNew Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund.
