I remember watching this video at my friend Mark's house in 1983. He was the first of my friends to get cable so we would spend HOURS on end watching MTV after school. "Why Me?" wasn't a huge radio hit, but in the early days of MTV, they only had so many videos, so it received A LOT of airplay.
Planet P...aka "Planet P Project" was a progressive rock band fronted by keyboardist Tony Carey, who also played with the heavy metal group Rainbow. Carey had two other hits as a solo artist, "A Fine, Fine Day," and "The First Day of Summer," which is one of those ear worm songs that I end up singing every few weeks.
