Has The Pandemic Made You a Better Person? Most People Say Yes.

While being stuck at home for months during the coronavirus quarantine was hard for a lot of people, it seems it also helped many learn a lot about themselves, prompting them to make some changes.

A new survey finds:

  • Two-thirds of Americans claim quarantine made them a better person.
  • 55% say they are now embarrassed by some of the things they valued pre quarantine.
  • 70% say the time inside helped them learn about themselves.

All that time spent at home definitely made people reflect on their lives and reexamine their priorities.

  • 27% of people say it’s motivated them to focus on achieving a better work/life balance post-quarantine.
  • 48% now want to spend more quality time with friends and family.
  • 38% will focus on creating more meaningful relationships with those around them.
  • Some folks say they used the time to discover new hobbies and passions, with 35% hoping to continue with them once everything is over.
