David Lee Roth is paying tribute to the late Eddie Van Halen. The rock legend has shared a previously unreleased song dedicated to his late bandmate, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bar and Grill.”
The track was recorded years ago with guitarist John 5, as part of a full album’s worth of shelved material… which David Lee Roth has been promising fans he’d eventually release. The acoustic jam sees DLR reflecting on his pre-fame days on the Sunset Strip of Hollywood, California.
The song comes as part of a new virtual comic book experience, “The Roth Project.” The new tune is one of five of his previously unreleased collabs with John 5, featured in the 17-chapter virtual comic book series that’s narrated by DLR. Check out the song below Source:Consequence Of Sound
